We headed up to Idaho for Memorial Day to spend some time with my family up there. We had a WONDERFUL visit. We got to spend time visiting with my Great Aunt Iolene, then we were of camping over in Hagerman. A favorite camping spot of mine from my childhood.

We had my Aunt Brenda, Tina and 2 Uncle Steve's all joined in the fun. Mia refers to them as Uncle Steve with hair and Uncle Steve no hair. They really appreciated that!! Most of you know how much I love an adore all my aunts and uncles so it was oodles of fun to watch them play with Mia. She had a blast with all of them and Mommy got to sit and talk and catch up while they all entertained her. It was SO neat to watch them with her and remember playing with them like that when I was her age. I think she loves them just as much as I do.

We spent lots of time fishing and Daddy was happy to catch some good tasting blue gills. We had a big fish fry at our camp site that night. Mia also caught a big trout that ran away with her fishing pole. Pretty good times. Hagerman, ID also had thier Fossil Festival going on that weekend, so we had a nice escape to civilization when we needed it. Mia rode all the rides and rocked out to the music the live bands were playing. We also enjoyed some good kettle corn and my favorite SNOW CONES. A sure way to please me right now, love the shaved ice. We are already planning our trip back to Hagerman for next summer, only this time Mommy will get to enjoy the many hot springs that cover the beautiful area.
