Heading to the Cabin

This will be the first weekend at the cabin and Mommy is really excited. I'm hoping for a nice relaxing vacation. It is Mother's Day afterall right? With a 3 year old it doesn't ever seem to be too relaxing though. Mia is sucha busy busy busy girl. She wants to learn and touch and see everything. Its amazing to watch her most days but oh so exhausting too. She is very excited to start school now that she is 3. However, I think we will wait until the fall to start school. Bubble Camp at Gymboree will have to hold her over for the summer. It sounds like it should be lots of fun; art, yoga, sports, acedemics, play. She thinks however, since its called camp that she will be taking her sleeping bag and tent!!! We'll have to work on that one.

The play house is coming along nicely it is now painted a beautiful shade of you guessed it, PINK! I'll have to grab the camera and show you. The only thing we are waiting on is the roof.

I had a doctors visit yesterday with the midwife and everything looked good. I've gained a few of the lost pounds back so she was happy with that. So far we are up to 14 pounds. This is week 24 so we are on the down side. Yeah! Daddy and I are still working on a name. We have it narrowed down to Deja or Elle. But you know its a slow process!?!? We never had to discuss Mia's name it came natural so this feels like SUCH a BIG decision.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's who are in my life. I know some of the best ones. Some that inspire, lead, encourage and allow. All of which I appreciate so much. Hope you get everything you want out of the day!!!

I like both of your name choices, very feminine! If you ever want a break, we are more than happy to have Mia over to our house. I remember how the second time was, never enough energy to keep up with the kid you already have!

Sounds like you had a great weekend at the cabin. We missed seeing you last weekend! We heard about how smart Mia is and how much she can say. Her and Brooklyn would have fun together. Hope your pregnancy continues to go well.
