Yes as usual its been a long time since I've posted. I have these 2 adorable friends that write in thier blogs almost daily. Its so fun to keep up with them but...I just don't ever put my computer time to good use. SO since July. Mia has taken swim lessons which she loved every moment except when she was in the water with the teacher! She really learned a lot though and loves playing in the pool. When we went to visit Grandpa Russel and Grandma Jean last month she spent almost every waking moment in the pool.
We also took Mia to Lagoon for her first time. She LOVED all the rides. Tyler was not so sure about most of them but they managed to ride a few together. We've been enjoying lots of good veggies from the garden too. Tons of tomatoes, jalepenos, green beans, zuccini and cucumbers. I love the harvest time even though I don't have a tractor. I'm getting ready to leave for our girl's trip on Friday. Me and 9 of my friends will be attempting to survive the weekend kid and hubby free. I am a bit nervous as it is my first time away from Mia but OH SO excited.
Mia is loving her Art class at Gymboree I don't know where I'm going to keep all the projects they make though. We also started going to the Lifetime Fitness gym with some of our friends. She is not so sure about the child center yet but has managed to make it 1 day without crying. So I bought her an ice cream! This last week I also got the chance to meet up with all of my best girlfriends from school. It was the 1st time in 5 years we have gotten all together and it was great fun to catch up with them and make those connections again.
Last weekend we went up to East Canyon with Shana Banana and her gang. Tyler proposed to Mia for the 1st time and Shana and I were elated. It was our plan coming together (in 30 years). Mia's big catch of the day was a 4 inch perch which she and TyTy played with on the shore until he floated belly up! Poor fishy. Mia also learned how fun it was to jump of the side of the boat to Daddy and go swimming. She went from our boat over to Doug and Shana's and back even survived a few wakes that scared Mommy. Later she jumped in again with me and we all enjoyed a nice cool off, except Carmel. She really wants to but just can't make herself go even with the rest of the family in the water.
Well I always say I'll post more but don't count on it!!! Hope ya'all enjoy.
