Sunnin' in Sedona

We recently took a little winter outing and headed for warmer weather. Our road trip started in Page, AZ where we were able to stop and hike into the Horseshoe Bend, very beautiful. We then continuted on through the Grand Canyon and into Sedona. We had a great time and it is an amazing place. SO beautiful and interesting. We visited a Vortex site down there, I would have loved to spend a little more time so we are hoping to go back soon.

We took Mia to Out of Africa, a wild life preserve. She really enjoyed all the animals. She got to feed and pet a giraff. Watch the tigers swim. See lions, tigers and bears oh my. A rino named Boom Boom which she thought was really fun to say. It was a very interactive experience.

We also went to Montezuma's Castle, some old Hopi ruins and hit a couple of vineyards along the way. You know us, we also ended up at a fish hatchery!

On the way home we went out of our way to go "STAND ON THE CORNER IN WINSLOW ARIZONA. A famous Eagles song for those of you that don't know. It was coolio and we had the best food of the trip there! Then we visited the Metor Crater, it was huge! Its the one they think caused the extinction. Pretty interesting stuff in the middle of no where.

All in all we enjoyed sunshine most of the time and were able to forget for a few days that our house was in shambles. We had a flood for those who didn't know - CHAOS!

Take care and keep in touch, enjoy the pictures.

Your pictures were great, it sounds like a fun road trip! My kids want to go on a road trip this summer to the four corners, they are intrigued by that idea! Happy Birthday Bart!
